Parelli Natural Horsemanship

Parelli Natural Horsemanship are excited to be part of this year’s Country festival at Stoneleigh Park at the home of our UK office.

We will feature an exciting demo on the Saturday and Sunday, showing you how Natural Horsemanship and the Parelli training methods are helping owners develop remarkable relationships with their horses and ponies.

Sue Shoemark of Parelli said: “The Parelli method has a massive global following and allows horse lovers to achieve success with their equines without force, dominance or fear. Pat Parelli and his wife Linda have been spreading the word for many years with the aim of helping owners develop remarkable relationships with their horses and ponies.”

The Range Rover Register is back...

The Range Rover Register is pleased to be back at Stoneleigh Park this year and is looking forward to providing rides around the off-road course in aid of The Air Ambulance Charity. Our members donate the use of their own vehicles, their time and fuel, with all money raised going directly to charity. The rides are designed to demonstrate the capabilities of 4x4 Vehicles, the skill of their drivers as they negotiate the course and all we ask is that our passengers give generously at the end of their ride. We have supported a number of charities in the past, but have raised over £30,000 for the Air Ambulance Charity in recent years and continue to support them as we all know we could need them at anytime. So if you are curious to see what our cars can do off the road come and find us at the off road course, you will enjoy the experience.

Pony Club Mounted Games at the show -
Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Mounted Games is an exciting and high profile discipline for Pony Club Members aged under 15. It provides a competition requiring courage, determination and all-round riding ability on the part of the rider and careful, systematic training of the pony

The first official competitions were held in 1956, with the Final at the Horse of the Year Show for which Prince Philip presented a Perpetual Challenge Trophy. From that day, the competition has been known as The Prince Philip Cup Competition, receiving worldwide acclaim for its concept, excitement and value to the participants. At Prince Philip’s own request, the competition was designed for “ordinary children on ordinary ponies” and those objects have remained constant.

“Friendly” Mounted Games competitions are held all over the country during the summer months at many of the agricultural and County shows. Pony Club Members fortunate enough to be selected to represent their country take part in the Home International Competition at The Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Pony Club Mounted Games are great fun involving children of all ages and abilities, and Pony Club as a whole has so much more to offer for anyone under 25, with or without a pony. To find out more about summer camps, rallies, competitions, tests, and fun and to find your nearest Pony Club Branch or Centre visit the website www.pcuk.org or call 02476 698300.
